I’ve created this blog in an attempt to do something worthwhile while I am sitting at the computer doing nothing. I will attempt to write often, and will try to implement myself in my new community.
About me:
I am a human being. I breathe air. I live on the planet earth. (Too general? Sorry. I’ll try again.)
First of all, my name is Eli (at least, that’s what you can call me) and anyone who knows or pretends to know me knows that I live, breath, and eat music. (Well, actually, I don’t eat music. I would imagine that ‘sixteenth notes’ are pretty hard to swallow. And my ‘high c’ has been known to be bitter.) I live to entertain people. I am currently involved in my local choral society (not your typical choir, so don’t go stereotyping me) and am three weeks out from opening night. Yikes!
As of right now I am living at home (hey, I’m young and unmarried, so it’s not a big deal! Besides, they did it in the old days, you know.) And am currently employed as a library clerk. I can’t call myself a librarian technically because I don’t have a degree dictating me as such.
My goal in life right now is very much based on a day by day basis. I want to live simply. I mean, I would love to work for Cirque du Soleil (which would be ideal), but honestly, if I can find a way to afford a nice apartment or small house, have weekends off and spend my Sundays sitting under a big oak in a sunny park after church reading a book, that would be just fine with me…
Oh! And I would like to dedicate this blog site to my Best Friend. He has been the only Person to have been able to deal with me completely and all the time. He is my Best Bud. Here’s to the Love of my life.
